Kateryna works as a researcher in REAL in the MapIE project.

Additionally, she is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in learning sciences at Learning and Educational Technology Research Lab at University of Oulu. Her research interests include cognition, metacognition in collaborative learning settings, self- and social regulation of learning, and learning analytics. She mainly utilizes multimodal multichannel data (video, audio, physiological) in her research to understand how (meta-) cognition unfolds during collaboration.
