Rolf V. Olsen is a full professor of educational assessment and measurement. He is also the Director of Centre for Educational Measurement. His research focuses on secondary analyses of data from the international large-scale assessments. In addition his research focuses on various forms of studies to examine validity of instruments used in both international and national large-scale assessment. He is also very actively involved as an advisor to policy makers in Nordic countries.
