MapIE is a research project funded by Horizon Europe spanning across five Northern and Central European countries for the period between 2024-2028. Our main goal is to identifywhat mechanisms cause inequalities in education and what policies measures and interventions exist to compensate for them in the context of Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, and Hungary.
Within national contexts and using comparative research designs, we address the school-, region-, and system-level policies and practices as well as pupil individual-level factors (e.g., socioecomonic status, sex, etc.) that contribute to the development of educational inequalities in primary and secondary education in Partnercountries.
