A founding member of the MapIE project, Monica Rosén, Professor of Education at the Department of Education and Special Education at the University of Gothenburg, suddenly passed away in August 2024. She was deeply involved in research in educational science and had a wide national and international network of researchers who she had collaborated with. Monica was the driving force behind several doctoral schools and research projects, and she especially involved with the development of doctoral students and junior researchers. Her work for research was of great importance and she left a great void behind her. Our thoughts are with her husband and two sons.
