Tampere University, REAL

Tampere University is the second biggest multidisciplinary university in Finland
that brings together over 21 000 students and 4 000 staff members. MapIE is led by the Research Centre for Education Assessment and Learning (REAL) at the Faculty of Education and Culture at Tampere University.

 

REAL conducts large-scale educational assessment studies with a particular focus on learning to learn and transversal competences. In close collaboration with the Centre for Educational Assessment at the University of Helsinki, REAL has implemented national and municipal longitudinal studies that contribute to the MapIE project when studying the development of educational inequalities in Finland.
